Chapter One

An intimate alcôve
between jungle
and sea.

Tucked behind red silk lanterns on a quiet lane in Haad Chao Phao, L’Alcôve is a candle-lit hideaway where French savoir-vivre meets the slow rhythm of Koh Phangan.

Hand-painted portraits watch over guests as bare feet find their way across warm stone. Rosé is poured, plates are shared, and the night begins to unfold.

The nameAlcôve. French, feminine noun. A small recess. A place set slightly apart from the world.

Hand-painted geishas, rattan pendants, tinsel and candlelight. Every corner is a scene. Nothing here is generic. Nothing here is loud.

Chapter Three: À table

Carpaccio.
Rosé.
Candlelight.

A French kitchen with a Thai heart. Beef carpaccio shaved thin over capers and shaved parmesan. Rosé de Provence, chilled in brass. Homemade breads. Long dinners that spill past midnight.

Chapter Four: Stay

Sleep steps
from the sand.

A handful of hand-painted bungalows sit just behind the restaurant. Fan or air-conditioning, private terraces, and the sound of the Andaman never far.
